RBI invites applications for 506 posts of “Assistant” in various offices of the Bank. Selection for the post will be through a country-wide competitive Online Examination and Interview.

Assistant : 506 posts in different Offices of RBI throughout India,

Pay Scale : Rs. 8040 – 20100, Age : 18 – 28 years as on 01/07/2014,
Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC.

Application Fee : Rs. 450/- (Rs.50/- payable by SC/ ST/ PWD / Ex.SM candidates)

Total time is 2 hours and 200 marks. All these sections are of 40 marks each.

IBPS PO/MT 4 2014 CWE Notification, Paper Pattern & Vacancies

IBPS invites applications for the recruitment of Probationary Officers/ Management Trainees posts in 21 Public Sector Banks in 2014.
Following are the 21 Public Sector Bank:
Allahabad Banks / Andhra Bank/ Bank of Baroda/ Bank of India/ Bank of Maharashtra/ Bhartiya Mahila Bank/ Canara Bank/ Central Bank of India/ Corporation Bank/ Dena Bank/ ECGC/ IDBI Bank/ Indian Bank/ Indian Overseas Bank/ Oriental Bank of Commerce/ Punjab National Bank/ Punjab & Sind Bank/ Syndicate Bank/ Union Bank of India/ United Bank of India/ UCO Bank/ Vijaya Bank.

There will be a Common Written Exam (CWE) will be given a scorecard (Like CAT exam of IIM) followed by personal interview.
Candidates shortlisted will be provisionally allotted to one of the Participating Organisations keeping in view the spirit of Govt. Guidelines on reservation policy, administrative convenience, etc. The validity for CWE PO/MT-IV will automatically expire at the close of business on 31.03.2016 with or without giving any notice.

Qualification : Graduate in any discipline.

Paper Pattern:

The Composite time is of 2 hours including following sections:

5 Computer Knowledge 20 Marks

Total 200 Marks.
The above tests except the Test of English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.

Before talking about the best books to prepare for UPSC Civil Services Examination, let’s talk about the paper pattern of both CSAT and Mains exam. Gone are the days when you can’t clear UPSC Civil Services Exam without coaching. Now with the help of internet and good books, it is possible to clear this exam. The Civil Services Examination is one of the most toughest and a competitive exam in which candidates prepare very hard by studying rigorously. Check out the selection process of Civil Services Examination conducted by UPSC.

Stage 1- Preliminary Exam. This examination is also known as Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT). Candidates who will pass this examination will be eligible for the Civil Services Mains Examination.
CSAT has two papers – Paper 1 (General Studies & current affairs – 200 Marks). It is generally very tough.
Paper 2 (General Aptitude- 200 Marks). It is relatively easy. Both the papers are of 2 hours each and objective type. Generally, a combined score from both the papers of around 55-60% is good enough for general category candidates to qualify for the Mains Exam.

Stage 2- Civil Services Mains Examination. The candidates who clear the CSAT Exam are allowed to appear for the Mains Exam. In this examination, there are a total of 9 papers that you have to take! These papers include:
1 Essay type Indian Language Qualifying Paper [You have to select your preferred language out of 22 languages] (300 marks)
1 English Qualifying Paper (300 marks)
1 General Essay type paper [In the language medium you select] (200 marks)
2 General Studies papers (300 marks each)
4 Optional Subjects papers (300 marks each)[ 2 Optional subjects will be chosen by the candidate and each will two papers of 300 marks]
Total = 2,000 Marks

SSC CGL 2013 Re-Exam July 20, 2014 – Download Admit Cards(All Regions)

SSC is going to conduct the CGL 2013 re-exam in other than 7 cities on July 20, 2014 after it has been decided to completely scrapped the SSC CGL 2013 examination(Both pre and mains) due to court decision and will conduct the re-examination all over India. It has already conducted the SSC CGL 2013 Tier 1 re-exam in 7 cities but yet to conduct in rest of the cities.

For some regions, the admit cards is available to download. For other regions, it will be available within 2-3 days.

The admit cards/Hall tickets for the CGL Tier 2 exam would be available to download after September 10, 2013 on the following regional websites of SSC.
