NICL(National Insurance) AO 2013 – Exam Review, Cutoff & Results

National Insurance Company Limited(NICL) conducted the written exam for the selection of Administrative Officers(AO) – (Generalist and Specialist) in four general insurance companies. The written exam was conducted on September 8, 2013.

The paper pattern of the Exam includes 100 objective questions for 100 marks and 50 marks for descriptive part. The total time was of 3 hours.

NICL(National Insurance) AO 2013 – Exam Review:

Numerical Aptitude & Computer:

Mathematics questions were very essay but computer section was tough(around 10 questions) for candidates with little to average knowledge of computers.

Some of the questions of this section(based on memory):
1) Bits in 8K RAM
2) 1201*1201
3) Which network is packet switching network.
4) RAM is short memory because…etc.

Reasoning:

One of the most easiest section of the entire exam. Except 2-3 questions, all the questions were easy.

Some of the questions of this section(based on memory):
1) Missing Number
2) How many rectangles are there in the figure.
3) Relation Questions.
4) 5:6:8:?…etc.

General Awareness:

The level of toughness of GK section was moderate. Questions based on current affairs and basic general knowledge.

Some of the questions of this section(based on memory):
1) 2000th Test Match between India and …?
2) Alternative name for food security(PDA)
3) Think Different’ slogan is of which company.
4) Country with highest literacy rate…etc.

English:

The level of toughness of English section was easy to moderate. Questions based on common errors, antonyms, synonyms, direct-indirect, etc.

Descriptive English:

The total marks of descriptive English are 50. It was divided into three sections viz. Comprehension(20 marks), Essay(20 marks) and Precis(10 marks).

The topics of Essay were How Mobile Phones are changing the way we communicate, Economic Meltdown and Privatization of Insurance.

SO, overall the paper was easy.

NICL(National Insurance) AO 2013 – Cutoff and Results:

The cutoff is expected to be very high this time as there was enough time to do the exam easily and questions were easy. The overall cutoff out of 150 marks is expected to be more than 100 marks.

Best Books for NICL General Insurance AO(Generalist & Specialist) Recruitment 2013

National Insurance Company Limited is going to conduct the Administrative Officers exam in Specialist and Generalist disciplines for four General Insurance companies. The written exam will be conducted on September 8, 2013.

The written exam will be objective and descriptive in nature. The objective type exam will include Maths, Reasoning, English and General Awareness for Generalist profiles.

NICL(National Insurance) Assistants Exam Analysis, Answer Key, Cutoff & Results 2013

National Insurance Company Limited(NICL) conducted the common written exam(CWE) for the post of Insurance Assistants for four general insurance companies of India. Read the full advertisement of NICL Assistants here.

NICL(National Insurance) Assistants CWE Exam Analysis:

Overall, the NICL CWE Assistants exam was easy to average in difficulty. It was the mixture of Bank clerical exams and SSC Exams.
English and reasoning section were the most easiest section. English section has only Grammar part, there was no passage. Reasoning was easy but little time consuming.
GK section was like SSC exam pattern. There were not much current affairs, questions were asked from Basic GK such as Economy, Chemistry, History, etc.
Computer section and quantitative aptitude was average in difficulty. Basically, it contains basics and history of computers. Quantitative section contains questions even from Trigonometry, Mensuration, etc.

NICL(National Insurance) Assistants CWE Exam Answer Key:

They did not allow the candidates to take the question papers. But question papers will be available based on memory. We will post the answer keys once it is available from a reputed source. NICL won’t release any official answer keys.

NICL(National Insurance) Assistants CWE Exam Cutoff and Results:

Agriculture Insurance Company(AIC) AO 2013 Results Out – Descriptive & Interview Schedule

Agriculture Insurance Company(AIC) of India Limited has announced the results of written examination conducted on June 16, 2013. There are total of 42 vacancies in different genres in AIC in 2013. The selection process includes obective online test, descriptive test and interview.

Now the Agriculture Insurance Company(AIC) has declared the list of candidates who have cleared the written examination held and shortlisted for Descriptive Test to be held on July 14, 2013.

The candidates who are shortlisted after descriptive test would be called for interview. The descriptive test is only qualifying and marks won’t be considered for final selection.

UIIC (United Insurance) AO Descriptive Test & Interview Results & Schedule 2013

United Insurance of India conducted the descriptive test for the recruitment of Administrative Officers(AO) on June 23, 2013. The exam was conducted in various centres all over India. Earlier candidates were shortlisted for the descriptive exam on the basis of written exam conducted by UIIC. The descriptive exam is only qualifying exam. It means marks of descriptive exam won’t be considered for final selection but you will have to clear the minimum marks in Descriptive part.

update: United Insurance has declared the interview schedule for Administrative Officers(AO) posts. Total of 1471 candidates have been shortlisted for interviews for around 450 posts. The interviews would be conducted in five cities viz. Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata and Hyderabad from August 1, 2013 to August 24, 2013.

National Insurance Company Limited invites applications from the eligible candidates for the recruitment of 1,411 vacancies of Administrative Officers (Scale I) in Specialist and Generalist disciplines.

The four General Insurance companies that are participating in this recruitment process are given as follows:

National Insurance Company Limited is conducting the recruitment exam for 2600 assistants in various GIC(General Insurance Companies) in 2013. The four GIC companies which are participating in this recruitment are as follows:

UIIC(United Insurance) AO 2013 Cutoff, Analysis & Result

United Insurance of India(UIIC) conducted the online objective written test for the selection of Administrative Officer on May 26, 2013. The exam was conducted online and thousands of candidates from over India has appeared in the examination.

The objective written exam was of two hours and consisted of four sections viz. English, Maths, Reasoning and General Awareness. All the four sections consisted of 50 questions of 50 marks.

UIIC AO 2013 Cutoff and Analysis:

As we have talked to many students, exam was relatively easy. Though little time consuming but with good strategy, you could score good marks.

As the number of seats are only 445, the cut off is expected to be more than 125-130 marks. Candidates, Six times the number of vacancies would be called for descriptive test now.

Update: UIIC has announced the result but cut off is not mentioned. Only the list of successful candidates.

UIIC(United Insurance) AO 2014 Cutoff, Analysis & Result

UIIC AO 2013 Result:

As the written exam was conducted online, the result would be announced in 2-4 weeks. Next, there will be a descriptive test on English and six times the number of vacancies would be called for descriptive test. The descriptive test is only qualifying and its marks would not be counted for final selection.
After the descriptive test, the qualified candidates would be called for interview and final selection is based on marks of objective test and interview.

CWE Assistants in National Insurance Companies(2600 Vacancies) 2013 – Paper Pattern & Syllabus

National Insurance Company Limited invites applications from the eligible Indian candidates for recruitment of 2600 vacancies as Assistants in Public Sector General Insurance companies.
This is not a target based job like ADO. It is just like a clerical job in banks where you have to do only office work.

There are four companies that are participating in this recruitment process:

1) NATIONAL INSURANCE COMPANY LTD.
2) ORIENTAL INSURANCE COMPANY LTD.
3) THE NEW INDIA ASSURANCE COMPANY LIMITED
4) UNITED INDIA INSURANCE COMPANY LIMITED

Selection Process and Paper Pattern:

Final selection of candidates will be based on common written test, interview and computer proficiency test. The objective written test would be of two hours and 250 marks. It would consist of five sections viz. English, Maths, Reasoning, Computer Awareness and General Awareness. Marks secured in the written test would be proportionately reduced to 35 marks and interview would be of 15 marks.
Computer proficiency test is only qualifying.
