RBI Grabe B Officers Recruitment 2013 – Notification, Paper Pattern & Syllabus

RBI invites applications from the eligible Indian citizens for the recruitment of Grade B officers in Reserve Bank of India. There are total of 98 Grade B officers vacancies to be filled by country wide recruitment process by RBI.

Important Dates:

Commencement of Online Application: June 12, 2013
Last Date of Payment of Fees(Online): On the date of application but not later than July 11, 2013
Last Date of Payment of Fees(Online): Within three working days of application but not later than July 15, 2013
Last Date of filling Online Application: July 11, 2013

Total Number of Vacancies – Officers in Grade B(Direct Recruitment):

General – 49
SC – 15
ST – 07
OBC – 27
Total – 98

Paper/Exam Pattern and Selection Process:

It involves three stages:

1) Objective Type Written Test: It involves 200 questions divided into four sections viz. English, Reasoning, Maths and General Awareness. There will be sectional cutoff just like Banking exams and there is also negative marking. Total time would be 2 hours.

2) Descriptive Examination: Candidates who qualify the objective test would be called for descriptive test. It involves three papers:
(i) Paper I – English (ii) Paper II – Economic & Social Issues and (iii) Paper III – Finance and Management. Each of these descriptive papers is of three hours duration carrying 100 marks.

3) Interview

Age Limit:

Between 21 – 30 years.

Educational Qualifications:

Graduation Degree with a minimum of 60% marks or Master’s Degree with a minimum of 55% marks or a Doctorate Degree with 50% marks in Master’s Degree.

RBI is conducting the recruitment exam for the selection of Assistants in Reserve Bank of India, 2013. The selection process of RBI Assistant 2013 exam consists of objective written exam of 250 marks in two hours followed by an personal interview. Best Books for RBI Assistant Recruitment Exam 2013

Reserve Bank of India is conducting the online recruitment exam for 525 vacancies of Assistant in RBI in 2013. The selection process of this recruitment includes an online objective written exam followed by an interview. Selection would be based on total marks of written exam and interview. The paper pattern of online objective written exam is as follows:

– Reasoning Ability
– English Language
– Numerical Ability(Maths)
– General Awareness
– Computer Knowledge

All the five sections would consist of 40 questions of 40 marks. There is also a negative marking of 1/4th marks.

The Reserve Bank of India invites applications from the eligible Indian citizens for the recruitment of Assistants in RBI 2013. There are total of 525 assistants vacancies in RBI to be filled via this recruitment process.

Payment of Application Fees Offline: May 30, 2013 – June 20, 2013
Online Test: July 20, July 21, July 27, July 28, 2013

Total Number of Posts:

Assistants in RBI: 525 Vacancies (Including reserved posts)

The number of vacancies are divided into various cities and states. Read that in notification given below. You can select only one state and your examination center will be only in that state.

Age Limit:

Between 18-28 years.

Minimum Eligibility Criteria:

Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks(pass marks for SC/ST/PWD) and knowledge of word processing on computer are eligible for this post.

Total Monthly Salary:

Rs. 21, 419 per month (excluding perquisites). Cost to bank including perquisites(excluding housing) is approx. Rs. 2,90,000 per annum.

Selection Process:

Selection process for the recruitment of Assistants in RBI includes online written test of 200 marks followed by an Interview. The written consists of five sections:

– Reasoning (40 Questions, 40 marks)
– English Language (40 Questions, 40 marks)
– Numerical Ability (40 Questions, 40 marks)
– General Awareness (40 Questions, 40 marks)
– Computer Awareness (40 Questions, 40 marks)

The negative marking is also there of 0.25 marks.

There will be a sectional cutoff and overall cutoff. Final selection would be based on total marks of objective written test and interview.
