SBI conducted Online Preliminary examination for the recruitment of Probationary Officer across the country on June 20, 2015. The examination was conducted in four slots. There were 100 questions in the exam – Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language.
Both Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude consists of 35 questions each, while the English Language section had 30 questions only. Each question had 5 options. There was negative marking of one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question for all the sections. The total time of the exam was one hour.

1) Reasoning – Moderate to high level in difficulty – Puzzles were tough.

2) Quantitative Aptitude- Moderate in difficulty level – Speed was required to solve questions.

3) English section – Easy in difficulty level.

If you have attempted more than 55-65 correct questions, you have very good chance of shortlisted for mains examination. All the best.
