SSC CGL (Combined Graduate Level) Examination 2016 Notification

Staff Selection Commission has issued the notification for Combined Graduate Level(CGL) Examination, 2016. The SSC CGL 2016 Tier-I exam will be held on SUNDAY the 8th & 22nd May, 2016 and if necessary,on subsequent Saturdays/Sundays, in various batches. The shortlisted candidates will be eligible for Tier-II examination for filling up different categories of posts in various Ministries/Departments/Organisations.

Major Changes in SSC CGL 2016 Notification:

– First time, SSC has introduces 4800 Grade Pay Gazetted Group B post included in CAG (only for commerce students)
– No interview in CGL 2016
– CSS Assistant Post age revised to 30 yrs
– No Sr.TA or Sr.Auditor post included
– Date of reckoning: 01 Aug 2016
– Assistant MEA (Cipher) discontinued
– No change in the syllabus (except for 4800 gp in CAG)
– No mention of online mode of examination anywhere
