IBPS SO III(Specialist Officers) 2014 Interview Schedule & Results

IBPS has finally announced the result of online written exam of Specialist Officers(SO) recruitment in public sector banks.
You can check the Result Status of CWE Specialist Officers Phase III (CWE SPL-III) here.
The marks would be announced in 10 days.

IBPS SO III(Specialist Officers) 2014 Interview Schedule & Results:

The download of call letters for Interviews will be available in the month of March 2014. The interviews would be conducted in April 2014 and final allotment will happen in April 2014.

RBI Grade B Officers Recruitment – New Notification in June, 2014

In a great news to all the aspiring candidates, the new notification for RBI Grade B Officers Recruitment will be announced in June, 2014.

This reply was sought by a candidate via a RTI. Also, the current sanctioned strength of Grade B Officers(CSG) in RBI is 1464 but the current working strength of Grade B Officers in RBI is only 1284.
That means this time around in 2014, around 180 vacancies are expected. Read the RTI below.

RBI Grade B Officers Phase 2(Mains) Schedule, Call Letters, Cutoff & Results 2013

RBI has announced the expected dates for the Grade B Officers Phase 2(Mains) Examination 2013. The Phase 2(Mains) exam for the recruitment of 98 Grade B Officers will be held on November 9(Saturday) and November 10(Sunday), 2013. Admission Letters(AL) for all shortlisted candidates will be sent separately via Email only.
You are advised to check your Email regularly.

The Phase 2 examination would be descriptive type. There would be three papers viz.

IBPS RRB PO Analysis, Cutoff & Results 2013

IBPS conducted the Common Written Examination for the recruitment of Group A Officers (Scale 1, 2 & 3) in Regional Rural banks in October, 2013. The exam was conducted online through out the country.

IBPS RRB Group A Officers Exam Analysis 2013:

There were total 200 questions divided into five sections of 40 questions each. Reasoning and Maths were of 50 marks each. Computer was of 20 marks. English and GK of 40 marks each.

The exam was quite easy overall but little time consuming in sections such as Maths and Reasoning. The pattern and questions were similar to all the IBPS exams conducted before.

General Awareness section was focused on current affairs, Banking and Financial awareness.

Grade A & B Posts in NABARD 2013(Assistant Manager & Manager)

National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) invites online Applications from the eligible candidates for the recruitment of 67 Grade A & B Posts in NABARD 2013.

The following posts are in the Rural Development Banking Service (RDBS), and rest in NABARD at its Head Office/ Regional Units.

1) Assistant Manager Grade ‘A’ Officer (RDBS): 37 posts, Experience is required.

2) Manager Grade ‘B’ Officer (RDBS): 30 posts, Experience is required.

Current Repo Rate, Reverse Repo Rate, CRR, SLR, MSF & Bank Rate

The new RBI Governor Mr. Raghuram Rajan has raised the repo rate by 25 basis points to 7.5% and reduced the MSF rate by 75 basis points to 9.5% from 10.25%. Other rates such as CRR kept unchanged in his first monetary policy review after taking over as the RBI governor.

These measure were taken to curb the inflation, tighten liquidity and arrest volatility in the foreign exchange market. The RBI also reduced the minimum daily maintenance of the cash reserve ratio from 99% of the requirement to 95%. Reserve Bank of India also said that any further change in the minimum daily maintenance of the CRR is not contemplated.

Current Rates(Updated March 22, 2014):

1) Bank Rate – 9 %

2) Repo Rate – 8 %

3) Reverse Repo Rate – 7 %

4) Cash Reserve Ratio (CRR) – 4 %

5) Statutory Liquidity Ratio (SLR) – 23%

6) Marginal Standing Facility (MSF) – 9 %

Bharatiya Mahila Bank PO Recruitment 2013 (115 Posts)

Bharatiya Mahila Bank – India’s first women’s bank invites applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of 115 posts of PO(Probationary Officers) in 2013.
The new bank is headquartered at Delhi and it will start its operations from November 1, 2013 with six Branches.

The applications are invites from the eligible candidates who have qualified in the Common Written Examination(CWE) for the POs / MTs conducted by IBPS in the year 2012 (IBPS CWE PO II) and have not allotted any post in any of the public sector banks.
