IBPS has announced the official notification for the posts of Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee in the government banks. This time IBPS has introduced Preliminary exam and Mains exam, just like SBI PO 2015. Selection process involves Preliminary exam followed by Main exam followed by Interview.

IBPS has released the notification for the posts of Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee in the Participating government banks. The online exam is tentatively scheduled in October 2015. There is new addition this time in the participating banks – EXIM bank.

IBPS PO/MT 4 2014 CWE Notification, Paper Pattern & Vacancies

IBPS invites applications for the recruitment of Probationary Officers/ Management Trainees posts in 21 Public Sector Banks in 2014.
Following are the 21 Public Sector Bank:

IBPS PO 3 Analysis, Cutoff & Results 2013

IBPS conducted the CWE 3 for the selection of Probationary Officers(PO – Scale 1) in public sector banks. The online written exam was conducted through the country on October 19, 20, 26, 27 and November 9 & 10, 2013.

IBPS PO 3 Online Written Exam Analysis 2013:

The total number of questions were 200. The questions were divided into 5 sections of 40 questions each.
Reasoning and Maths sections were of 50 marks each. Computer was of 20 marks. English and GK of 40 marks each.

The exam was moderate to difficult level overall. Though the pattern and questions were similar to all the IBPS exams conducted before but all the questions were time consuming.

Numerical Ability(Maths) was the most difficult section as questions were time consuming, lengthy and difficult to solve. There were no questions from Simplification and Approximation.

Reasoning section was moderate in difficulty level. Input output questions were tricky and difficult than usual. Other questions were easy but little time consuming.

English section surprised many candidates as it was not that easy like previous IBPS exams. There was one Reading Comprehension passage with 15 questions. Rest of the section had questions from Rearrangement of sentences, Error spotting and Cloze test and Phrases.

Computer section was easiest of all. The questions were focused on the topics such as Operating System, Hardware, Networking, Software, internet & DBMS.

General Awareness section was focused on current affairs, Banking and Financial awareness. Most of the questions were easy. It was overall easy to moderate in difficulty level.

Bharatiya Mahila Bank PO Recruitment 2013 (115 Posts)

Bharatiya Mahila Bank – India’s first women’s bank invites applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of 115 posts of PO(Probationary Officers) in 2013.
The new bank is headquartered at Delhi and it will start its operations from November 1, 2013 with six Branches.

How To Prepare for IBPS PO 2013

Institute of Banking Personnel and Selection(IBPS) is going to conduct the Common Written Examination(CWE) in the month of October, 2013 for the selection of Probationary Officers(PO) in public sector banks.

The written examination would be of 200 marks consisting of all objective questions divided into four sections. This time around, there is no descriptive test of English.
